bio

Erin Langley is a former third grade teacher of the Baldwin County School System. She is a highly qualified and an Alabama Reading Initiative-trained educator. Erin is president and co-founder of Jitterbug Theatre Productions, a touring theatre for young audiences that travels to elementary schools around the Southeast performing motivational musicals for students. Erin has written and directed three original musicals and is currently a composer for EEC International, an international educational publishing company that develops English learning tools for foreign students. She has developed Reading/Theatre Residencies for struggling second and third grade readers and has also served as Artist in Residence at several schools, including Fairhope High School. She has taught numerous vocal and theatre workshops for students. Erin recently directed  productions of “Once On This Island, Jr.” and “Into The Woods, Jr.” for the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation.  She is a graduate of Spring Hill College. In her spare time, Erin enjoys singing with the Mobile Opera, recording vocals for local projects, spending time with her husband Karl and their children, Ezra and Zoë.
